Five front doors
Five addresses, one system.
The firm’s website, applications, courses, interviews and client billing used to live in separate places. One Next.js app now serves all five and routes each visitor by the address they arrive at.
| Address | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| heartcapinc.com | The firm’s public site |
| apply. | Job board and eight-step application |
| client. | Employer portal with invoices |
| courses. | Training courses |
| interview. | White-label interview links |
The platform
Five front doors, one back office.
Real screens of the live platform: the public pages, then the Odoo back office behind them. Choose one to see it.

Captured 28 Oct 2026. In the Odoo screens, candidate names are replaced and blurred.
Architecture
One app in front. Odoo behind it.
Every address is served by the same Next.js app, which keeps its own PostgreSQL database for the content the firm edits and the chat assistant. Jobs, applications and placements live in Odoo 18, extended with three custom modules.

What we built
Four parts, one system.
One codebase behind five addresses
A WordPress site, an application portal, a courses page and an interview app now run as a single Next.js app that routes by host.
Recruitment that lives in Odoo
Three custom Odoo 18 modules carry the pipeline: jobs feed the public board, applications land as records, and placements flow through to invoicing.
A front desk that answers
A chat assistant grounded in the firm’s own content, reachable on the site, WhatsApp and Messenger, that hands over to the team when it should.
Handed over, not held
Self-hosted with automated deploys and rollback, and delivered with an eight-document handover pack covering every system.

From a client
I had the pleasure of working with Fahim and the Plugwheel team when Heart Capital Inc. engaged them through Upwork to rebuild core parts of our digital infrastructure: our databases, website, and chatbots. As Head of Business Operations, I worked with Fahim directly throughout the project, and I can't recommend him highly enough.
We came to Plugwheel with a broad scope and a lot of moving parts. Fahim quickly understood how our recruitment and talent advisory business works, and he translated that into practical technical decisions. He didn't just follow a brief. He asked the right questions, flagged issues before they became problems, and proposed solutions that fit how our team actually works day to day.
His technical range stood out. He moved easily between restructuring our data, rebuilding a website that better represents our brand and services, and setting up chatbots that improve how we engage with candidates and clients. Each piece was built to work with the others, which has made our operations noticeably smoother.
Just as valuable was how he worked. Fahim communicated clearly and consistently, kept us updated on progress, and responded quickly to feedback and revisions. He was reliable on timelines and managed a multi-part project without us ever feeling out of the loop. For a growing firm without an in-house tech team, that level of ownership made a real difference.
I'd recommend Fahim and Plugwheel to any business that needs a capable, dependable partner to modernize its systems. He brings strong technical skill, sound judgment, and genuine commitment to the client's success.
